In all seriousness though, safety freaks have to be the most sanctimonious people to ever walk the earth. This is not confined to the Covid paranoia either.
Workplace safety, which is a legitimate concern, is an opportunity for people to virtue signal and grandstand, with the aim of appearing holier safer than thou. It’s beyond pharasaical too. Anybody who has worked for a big company knows what I’m talking about here. All of management (disingenuously) worships at the altar of safety.
Ditch the Safety Idolatry. Love Holy Church.
