Would You Eat an Orange in the Garden of Eden?

Because they have hated instruction and received not the fear of the Lord. Nor consented to my counsel, but despised all my reproof. Therefore they shall eat the fruit of their own way, and shall be filled with their own devices.” Proverbs 29:31

Imagine if you were in the Garden of Eden. Let’s say you were Eve, and unlike Eve, you turned down the obvious trap of eating the apple, ignoring Satan’s suggestion. That’s an admirable start.

Then, however, imagine if another serpent approached you, one even sneakier and surreptitious, perhaps. This new serpent might suggest that you reach for a different fruit on the same forbidden tree, which, despite being the same tree, turns out to be an orange. Yes, in Paradise, there might indeed be various fruits on the same tree, if God wills it.

Either way, a nasty serpent, knowing your weaknesses and inclination to confusion, could present you another fruit, full of abundant citrus, but equally forbidden . . .

Would you take it? What is this orange, anyway? Is it really any different from the apple?

If this weren’t the Garden of Eden, but rather our current world, I think we all know what this orange represents. It is the stealth, yet appealing allure of something less obviously wicked, but still evil and damning, nonetheless. This is the fruit that ensnares those who withstand one evil, but cannot resist another, and so they suffer the same horrible, soul-deforming fate. What is this orange in today’s world?

It’s conservatism!

Will you take the orange and fawn over the orange man? I know I’ve asked several inquiries in just a short introduction, but these are the questions forced upon those who choose cheap, Americanist conservatism over (or somehow with) traditional Catholicism. I should hope we would do better, but if we cannot, then let us ask some other questions.

Other Questions for Conservatives

  1. Do you not know that the Left/Right political cleavage was an invention of our enemies, first found among the “radicals” and “conservatives” after the French revolution? If even mainstream academics and journalists comprehend this, then why don’t conservatives who insist they can make efficacious use of it? Are conservatives satisfied with a dangerous and manipulable paradigm established in the aftermath of that barbaric and anti-Christian revolution?
  2. Do you receive most of your news and political digest from Fox News or something equivalent? Can you not see how this organization’s owners are Zionists, who would never permit a fervent criticism of Jews, like George Soros or Benjamin Net-and-Yahoo? Wasn’t this why Tucker Carlson received his ousting as well? Could this same dynamic have also been what ousted John-Henry Westen from LeoSiteNews?
  3. Then, regarding the so-called alternative media, why is it that scarcely any of them are traditional Catholics? Should such “conservative” pundits deserve our trust?
  4. What about all those Traditional Inc commentators who often espouse conservatism while resembling a mob syndicate of grifting, nonsense, and “Pope Leo” sycophancy? Why do they command your trust even though they guess incorrectly on every issue, attempt to shut down discussion, and even foment heresies (like obedience to Vatican II)?
  5. Regarding the conservative position on nuclear bombs, if we assume Iran must remain bomb-free, then WHO SHOULD have one? What about the U.S., the only nation-state ever to use one, having twice obliterated cities of an already-defeated opponent?
  6. How do you define conservative, anyway?

Conclusion: Conservatism is a Dead End; Catholicism Leads to Eternity

Behold the Wine Presser, Jesus Christ Crucified, the only Fruit Bearer you must trust.

Since we should see clearly now that conservatism is a dead-end political ideology, a deceptive artifice created by our revolutionary enemies, we must identify a suitable alternative. Thankfully, we have already received such from the Ultimate Fruit Bearer, Jesus Christ. We must accept the true fruits of His Holy Gospel, His True Catholic Religion, and devote ourselves to Him and His Mother.

As always, and yes, it bears repeating as many times as it takes, consecrate yourself to Mary Immaculate and pray Her Holy Rosary every day (all 15 decades). There were no conservatives at Calvary, only those who saw the true guiding light, emanating from Our Sacrificed Savior. Do this, as Jesus commands, and the charlatans will never hoodwink you with their spoiled fruits and empty promises.
