Everything must come to a halt in the shut-down/cancel culture.

Bridges and reservoirs? Close them.

Oil pipelines. Shut them down.

Scary virus? Shelter in place and lock the door. Close the stupid schools. Make people surrender their businesses.

Too many talking too “dissidently” on the Web, shut that down too.

The last resort: shut people down . . . with extreme prejudice.
