Part 2: Catholic Prophecy Industrial Complex

Don't spread stupid prophecies.

“When prophecy shall fail, the people shall be scattered abroad: but he that keepeth the law is blessed.”

Proverbs 29:18

You can never go wrong, meditating upon and following God’s law, even amid a chaotic era where false prophets outnumber the bona fide ones. This is true of visionaries, seers, teachers, political figures, and certainly those often contemptible “experts.” It’s all about distinguishing the good from the bad, using the gift of counsel.

Since there was considerably positive feedback from the last post (with requests for more), I will acquiesce with Part 2 on the trouble with the Catholic Prophecy Industrial Complex. If you missed it, check out the first part of this series.

This article will examine the following topics:

  1. What makes an “ideal” prophecy?
  2. Why “Trad Catholic Media” and “Conservative News” resemble the Catholic Prophecy Industrial Complex
  3. Reasons to take Malachi Martin more seriously
  4. Good ideas for October (involving beads)

What Does the Ideal Prophecy Look Like?

So, if we possess reliable judgment criteria, we CAN anticipate what a believable Catholic prophecy might look like. Let’s try to imagine the most ideal example.

  • Accurate predictions (if applicable)
  • No heresies, squishy doctrine, or modernism (i.e., Vatican 2 nonsense)
  • Encouragement to persevere in traditional Catholic devotions (like the Rosary, First Saturdays, or Brown Scapular)
    • Although many outstanding apparitions throughout Church history have created fresh devotions.
  • Everything flows mellifluously along with Church tradition
  • It has parallels to biblical prophecy (like Our Lady of Mt. Carmel)
  • The seers enter a religious life (if they hadn’t already)
    • . . . since prophecies should excite the seer to seek the surest path to heaven, and the best means to help save souls.
  • Nobody profits as a prophet
    • This should not involve the seer “hopping on the circuit” of prophecy shows, podcasts, and conferences. You shouldn’t see a seer all the time.
  • The seers are almost shocked at what they’ve encountered
    • . . . and need heaven’s reassurance that they haven’t lost their minds.
  • Younger seers are generally more trustworthy
    • . . . since they haven’t had the chance to become corrupted, or insert pre-conceived theological ideas into their “apparitions.”
  • What about specific content?
    • Ultimately, that’s God’s call, of course.
  • Something new, but not radically new
    • Thus making it worthwhile, but not bizarre, confusing, or heretical.

Alas, much of the new stuff (especially since Vatican 2) cannot meet many of these standards. How would the Garabandal apparitions, for example, withstand these tough criteria? Perhaps few (if any) since the predictions rely heavily on Conchita, who never entered religious life, and went all over the place advertising what she had seen.

Notice that with those criteria, you can see why some prophecies are much more reliable than others. The Fatima prophecies, for example, came to young children, predicted WWII, conveyed a message of prayer and penance, and didn’t pulverize Catholic doctrine.

You might also recall the apparitions of Our Lady of Lourdes, which reinforced Catholic teaching when Our Lady introduced herself as “The Immaculate Conception” to Bernadette Soubious. It added heaven’s approval to the papal confirmation of that dogma, leading the seer, young Bernadette, to become a devout religious, and leave some of the most incorrupt remains.

There are several other good ones, but, whenever you’re in doubt, stick with those with clear Church approval, made prior to the Vatican 2 communist infiltration.

Now that we’ve explored good/bad examples of prophecy, and we should avoid the Catholic Prophecy Industrial Complex, let’s examine another parallel problem: horrible conservative media.

Trad Inc & Conservative Outrage Porn – Parallel Industrial Complexes

As you already know (I hope), there are many dangerous online news and editorial resources, designed to rattle, aggravate, and confuse Catholics. This comes in several forms, but I’d like to highlight two particular paradigms:

  1. “Trad Inc” – A fake representation of traditional Catholicism (probably controlled by the Vatican antichurch); many of whom have given into Bergoglio or have become crypto Lutherans.
  2. Conservative Outrage Porn – Sensational neocon muckraking, full of poor source verification, designed to elicit a visceral response, and usually unconcerned with scandalizing people.

Let’s begin with Trad Inc . . .

The Remnant (Michael Matt)

Michael Matt, editor of The Remnant, has created a brand gimmick, known as unite the clans. He repeats that slogan ALL THE TIME and urges various Catholic traditionalists to set aside “petty” differences and unite to resist someone he insists is the true Roman Pontiff. Since what else would you do with a true pope? Everyone’s welcome to this “big tent” approach of countering modernism, provided you don’t use your brain and question the Bergoglian antipapacy, as many Catholics are now doing.

A beautiful parrot.
Rahh! Unite the clans! Unite the Klan! Rahh! Resist Francis! Rahh!

This double standard became glaring obvious at Matt’s recent Catholic Identity Conference, where he reneged on his promise to feature Archbishop Vigano, after discovering what Vigano intended to say. In it, he concludes that it’s time to investigate Bergoglio’s antipapacy, which Matt didn’t want to include for fear of ruining his touchy-feely, echo-chamber, group-therapy shindig. According to the veteran traditionalist, you’re supposed to resist someone you think is the pope, but NEVER consider what prompts the need for resistance in the first place.

At long last, we should see through the pointless veneer of The Remnant, a for-profit website, obsessed with false unification. Alas, unity is not an intrinsic value. The demons, who hate one another, can “unite” periodically to drag souls down to Hell with them. So, while unity has its value (pleasant it is for brethren to dwell in unity), you cannot enjoy genuine Catholic unity without the papacy.

Let us repeat that once again for the cheap seats: YOU CANNOT ENJOY GENUINE UNITY WITHOUT THE PAPACY.

If you insist on resisting, why would you resist a genuine papacy, a divinely ordained institution, existing solely for the purpose of unity?

I encourage you to hear Abp. Vigano’s message, and ignore the illogical and controlled opposition you would get from Michael Matt and The Remnant.

One Luther Five (AKA One Peter Five)

One Luther Five is a popular semi-traditional website, which has recently developed an editorial slant of denigrating the papacy, warning its readers of a menacing “ultramontanism” in the Church. While the website has good contributors (Fr. Z), its editorial big shots (Timothy Flanders & Peter Kwasniewski) have a novel way to help you cope with “Pope Francis.”

Their solution is to pretend the papacy doesn’t matter anymore (and we were all crazy “papists” the whole time). Hence, my renaming them One Luther Five.

Pope St. Pius X.
“Who does he think he is? An infallible king?” (Says the Anti-Ultramontanists)

Here are a few gems from Flanders’ recent ridiculous article on the False Spirit of Vatican One.

  • Two of the best popes over the last 500 years, Blessed Pius IX and St. Pius X, were ultramontanists who basically over-exerted their authority.
  • Because of subsidiarity, the pope doesn’t really matter, since it’s the bishops, priests, and families who do the real teaching.
  • Some un-named “sedevacantist” told Flanders that the only reason the Church elevated St. Robert Bellarmine to “Doctor of the Church” was to help sell Vatican 1 and its ultramontanism.
  • As usual, the article ignores what Vatican 1 really involved (the encroachment of modernism, amid the collapse of Christendom). Like other Vatican 2 proponents, One Luther Five adheres to the evil idea that the Church must operate through “collegiality” rather than a strong pontiff. After all, that’s the only way to prevent “bad popes” like Bergoglio, even though he himself is the product of V2 collegiality (communist, modernist, hijackers, AKA the St. Galen Mafia).

Tragically, this publication’s founder, Steve Skojec, abandoned it to chase after UFOs, leaving it in the hands of academic nerds, who shill for the antichurch at all costs. We should abandon it as well, not for stupid aliens, but for more traditional (and less Lutheran) Catholic analysis.

I’ll cover more on the ultramontanist myth in my forthcoming e-book, Destroy the Poltergeist of Vatican 2, (which will be free on my website) in a few weeks.

Now, let’s check out what I mean by “Conservative Outrage Porn.”

Ben Shapiro – Conservative Outrage Pornographer

Many otherwise faithful Catholics allow their brains to atrophy by participating in a deceptive and addictive pastime: watching conservative outrage porn. This refers to any type of media designed to elicit outrage and heavy emotional responses.

The Breitbart news site may have pioneered this in the digital age, and its current ruler, Ben Shapiro, continues it with his conservative media empire. Shapiro’s lucrative enterprises capitalize on popular outcry over obvious social problems (trannies, abortion, liberal corruption, etc.), but almost never pursue subjects that don’t involve emotional outrage.

You won’t see his primary outlet, Daily Wire, dedicate much space to deeper, chronic problems like the fleecing of America by the Federal Reserve System. You’re more likely to see a useless analysis of “Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce” or every painstaking detail of the Trump drama.

These news sources never solve problems, or offer their consumers any way to cope with them better. Their investigations and reporting are superficial and sensational. Even with important issues, like abortion, they won’t explore the deep roots of the problem, such as the occult, secret societies, and central economic planning.

Shapiro, being a member of Jew-ism, isn’t liable to explore such topics, or else risk exposing his own crowd to massive scrutiny. In short, the Conservative Outrage Porn peddlers know they have to keep their customers bewildered in order to entice them into consuming more porn.

Steve Cunningham – Clown Planet?

I almost hate to call him on this, but it’s unavoidable.

Steve may be a solid guy, overall, with his terrific YouTube channel for traditional Catholic sermons. Many fledgling traditionalists could get at least half their “trad” education from his Sensus Fidelium.

There’s just one problem.

He does another program, Clown Planet, which although it explores topics that receive little coverage elsewhere, devolves into outrage porn almost every episode. It’s somewhat like Ben Shapiro and Daily Wire, but with much edgier (harder to find) materials. I can appreciate the effort he puts into uncovering canceled/censored stories, but this poor dude can’t go one episode without railing about vaccine passports or digital IDs

“They’re coming! They’re coming!”

He’s been screaming that for over three years. However, nothing has happened in normal places, whereas nobody should be surprised to see these unavoidable realities in California, NYC, and other leftwing urban hellholes. If you haven’t gotten out of those places by now, watching outrage porn won’t convince you to leave.

“They’re coming! They’re coming! No! Soon! Next week!”

Notice the secular parallel to the Catholic Prophecy Industrial Complex. It involves the same style of doomsday predictions, which always generate a tremendous volume of views and clicks. Aside from the monetary value derived from this online media strategy, we might ask what’s the point of all these warning videos (if they’re already a fait accompli).

Yet another beautiful parrot.
Rahh! They’re coming! They’re coming! Wee-hoo! Digital IDs!

I suppose I too could incessantly scream about nuclear war, since it’s bound to happen, eventually. Even if true, however, it’s not much of a spectacular prediction, nor is there a clear means to prevent it. To his credit, Steve knows the basics of living like a virtuous Catholic (his other programs attest to that), but the outrage porn component strikes me as useless at best.

Can anyone explain why we should devote more than a passing glance to this stuff (assuming a basic understanding of how the world is collapsing)? What more does this contribute?

Furthermore, there are other things you should investigate, which will alleviate stress, anxiety, and confusion. You could, for example, listen to Dr. Mazza’s cogent explanation of Pope Benedict’s erroneous resignation. Then, you’ll no longer have to do the mental gymnastics of trying to reconcile a ludicrous idea, like “Pope Francis,” with Catholicism.

Porn and spurious prophecies are worthless. The truth, however, will allow you to regain your mental health. You could almost say “I just saved a bunch of money on my health insurance by switching to Benedict as pope.” Plus, this still works even in 2023 (since Bergoglio didn’t magically inherit the papacy, for no reason, upon Benedict’s death).

Finally, I’d like to devote some time to a quasi-prophet who you should take more seriously than these guys.

Malachi Martin – Much Maligned; Ages Like Fine Wine

In the last post, I mentioned the loveable/hateable priest, Fr. Malachi Martin. He has carried the “Fatima torch” as well as anybody, despite significant character assassination from the traitorous Jesuit Church. He’s the priest who worked in the Vatican (under Cardinal Augustin Bea), gaining exposure to the elusive 3rd Secret of Fatima.

Without divulging its specific content (ordered not to do so, under obedience), Fr. Martin has given us some of the deepest insights on it. I’d like to explain why he’s much more credible (or at least more interesting) than the profiteers and “thought leaders.”

Fr. Martin, besides being an advisor to multiple popes, kept pretty solid company: Fr. Nicholas Gruner and Fr. Paul Kramer. I believe his association with these reputable priests boosts his credibility substantially. As the expression goes, most of us are the sum of our five closest associates.

It would take a while to explain their significance to the Fatima mission, but I’ll cover the relevant highlights. Both Gruner and Martin met their demise, earlier than expected, having succumbed to the dreaded “suddenly.” If you’re keeping score, that’s the same disease that eliminated the journalist, George Neumayer, another whistleblower against the antichurch.

Before his mysterious death in 2015, Fr. Gruner spent years pressing the Vatican to come clean about the Fatima messages they refused to share since 1960. He did this by starting the world’s largest organization for this cause, the Fatima Rosary Crusader (AKA Fatima Center). He also helped malnourished and sick Catholics in India for several years while publishing an array of books on this crucial prophetic topic.

Then there’s Fr. Paul Kramer, a true “red-pill priest” well before the term became popular, who has uncovered tons of Deep Church and Deep State corruption. You can sample his fantastic work in the eye-opening book, The Mystery of Iniquity. There he details the masonic/Zionist 20th century takeover, how the Cold War never really ended, and why there’s little difference between the Bush’s, Obama, and other deep state villains.

Fr. Kramer, is perhaps the “last of the Mohicans,” as the only one of the three still alive, and has followed in Our Lord’s footsteps by suffering exile and humiliation. While his opponents, who defend today’s antichurch, have hijacked the Fatima Center, and enjoy impunity, Fr. Kramer was banished to remote lands for exposing its treachery (including Antipope Bergoglio).

So, those are Malachi Martin’s pals, if I understand it correctly. Why do any of these men matter?

Because, frankly, without these priests (and a few dedicated laymen, like John Vennari), there would be no Fatima movement. It’s like trying to imagine today’s Traditional Catholicism without the bold efforts of Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre.

Martin, Gruner, and Kramer voiced the only legitimate complaints when the Vatican released its cutesy version of the 3rd Secret in 2000. Without this small, but massively dedicated traditionalist opposition, everyone would believe the balderdash explanation that JPII’s attempted assassination fulfilled the 3rd Secret prophecy.

Therefore, if you devote yourself to Our Lady of Fatima, you should at least consider what its best chroniclers have had to say. Moreover, I invite those who have dismissed Malachi Martin, without investigating primary (or even secondary) sources, to correct that loathsome habit, and listen to one of his several interviews.

Then, you can at least gain a preliminary idea of whether he “passes the smell test.” That’s far better than obeying YouTube commentators who finish every video by commanding you to “like, share, destroy” (or whatever garbage they say).

Remember, if you’re really feeling frisky, you can apply those CDF guidelines (explained in my last post), and evaluate Fr. Martin yourself. Has he made predictions and how well have they performed? Although he, himself, hasn’t had visions (to my knowledge), he purports to transmit crucial aspects of Fatima’s 3rd Secret. Plus, some of his fictional-historical materials have had terrific predictive power as well.

If there’s a downside to Malachi Martin, his critics accuse him of having a penchant for attention, and that he abandoned his priesthood for other enterprises. Nevertheless, still other sources say he may have been a secret bishop of some sort.

We might commend him, however, for leaving the Jesuit Religion, something any rational, non-sodomite man would do. He also claims the Jesuits (who’ve given us Bergoglio and the other Fr. Martin), were the ones to betray him.

Good prophets and shepherds always earn that kind of treatment, just as Our Lord did from Judas. We must ask ourselves whether we’ve had it too easy during these times where the most authentic and observant Catholics endure so many miserable crucibles.

In summation, there’s a lot of information to excavate, so I recommend readers pray for the gifts of discernment and counsel. Don’t trust your emotions or the “Trad Inc” manipulation, but investigate, and reach a conclusion, while asking for the Holy Spirit’s guidance.

Conclusion: Don’t Forget There are Better Things to Do

King Alphonsus of Leon.
King Alphonsus of Leon and Galicia, who didn’t even pray the Rosary initially, but got a second chance at life because he wore it and got others to pray.

Guess what we do in October, which doesn’t involve apparition chasing, panicking, or ghost hunting?

Yes, it’s Rosary time, all year long, but especially this month, as we commemorate Our Lady of the Rosary. Therefore, I invite you to join the humble Rosary Crusade we’ve started in eastern North Carolina. Our goal is to flood heaven with prayers and petitions to heal the Church (and end the horrible sinful synod) by praying the Rosary every hour of the month.

All you have to do is click an open hour, give it your name and email, and commit to praying five decades of Our Lady’s Psalter. Anyone can participate; you don’t have to be part of the parish. We look forward to your help, and never forget that Our Blessed Mother is the only one who ever wins these seemingly insurmountable fights.

Also, don’t forget to go to confession (while we still can). We’re way past being able to get away with the “once every six months” routine.

Deus Vult!

  1. Thomas says:

What I’ve found is that it is often only possible to say where a prophecy doesn’t come from that to say from where it does. For instance if a prophet promotes the rosary you can knock out the idea that the demons are a source, for to say otherwise is to say that demons can promote it, even as a means to an end, which means what we’ve been told by so many in the Church about the rosary is pious babble.

Perhaps it’s easier to find ways to scrutinize and disqualify obvious false apparitions, whereas the task of approving the genuine ones is much more arduous.
