A Trump Victory: Short-Lived at Best

Trump with Alexander the Great

Praise the Lord, O my soul, in my life I will praise the Lord: I will sing to my God as long as I shall be. Put not your trust in princes. In the children of men, in whom there is no salvation.
Psalm 145: 2-3

Aside from the purpose of archiving our civilizational decline, most of this 2024 American election farce plunges far beneath the dignity of traditional Catholics.

The best possible outcome would involve Donald Trump returning to the presidency, but even this is a bleak prospect for several reasons. Here is one that many have not noticed: a Trump victory will only allow for four years of governance, followed by a massive and unavoidable political vacuum.

Donald Trump, as you might know, possesses no qualified successor, no capable peer to continue his acerbic-powered, nationalistic mission to return America (and Western Civilization) to greatness. With no heir apparent to engineer the “Trump Train” or advance his MAGA dynasty, the fight ends with him, returning us inevitably to where we began with the Obama era.

I contend that we’ve seen this problem elsewhere throughout history, and it never ends well . . .

Donald Trump’s Return: A Short-Lived Victory, Reminiscent of Alexander the Great

Donald Trump’s meteoric rise to political fame (or infamy, depending on your perspective) reminds me of Alexander the Great, the most successful conqueror of the ancient world.

This is not because I believe they cultivated their power in a similar fashion, but because they share the same lamentable fate: short-lived victory. Alexander the Great was a young prince who took his decent Greco-Macedonian inheritance, conquered Egypt, Persia, and beyond, but died at age 32, having hardly much time to relish it.

Back in those days, before the ascendance of the Roman Empire, this was the proverbial “game board” of territories men would seek to control. Alexander gained all of it, or at least more than any ruler before today’s all-encompassing global hegemony (the Freemason Jews).

While Trump obviously won’t die young, like Alexander, he also won’t be around much longer, thanks to either advanced age, assassination, or term limits. One way or the other, he’s out the door soon.

That may seem well enough for those who hate Trump or possess a lukewarm stance toward him. However, I suspect we may suffer dire consequences if we invest all our hopes into Trump, only to see him depart in four short years or less.

When Alexander died, it created a colossal power vacuum in all those territories, most notably around Greece. His departure, because he appointed no legitimate successor, led to a massive struggle among all the various Beta tyrants, leading to brutal regimes, like the Seleucid Empire. For anyone keeping score, the Seleucids were the evil pagans who terrorized the ancient Hebrews (circa 160 BC), forbidding their rituals and burial customs, thereby pre-empting the prolific Maccabean Revolt.

In other words, when incredible and charismatic figures die, they’re often succeeded by vicious thugs or warlords, to the detriment of whomever they subjugate. This was roughly the same dynamic, which occurred in the Roman Empire after the reign of Caesar Augustus. Today’s global hegemony repeats this every time it enacts a regime coup such as it did in Iraq, Libya, Iran, Cuba, and so forth.

So, in light of that dismal precedent, shall we experience a similar fate in the post-Trump United States? Could things become even worse when circumstances finally end The Donald one way or another? I’ll come back to this momentarily, but first, let’s explore whether we think the Orange fellow is all that fantastic, anyway.

Trump – A Mixed Bag at Best

It would be easy to conclude that Trump doesn’t fit the criteria to have “great” affixed to his name or legacy, like Alexander. This should be a cause for reflection for those Catholics who consider him “the most pro-life president in recent history.”

Trump cannot achieve even that low bar (a miniscule standard, considering recent presidents) given his squishy position on IVF and abortion jurisdiction. The rest of his record is full of glaring contradictions to authentic Catholic values as well.

  • Operation Warp Speed (death-speed ahead with injections)
  • Support for the So-Called “Log Cabin” Republicans (they’re fags)
  • Access to Evil IVF Treatment (Unnatural Family Planning)
  • Support for the Expansion of Women as Combat Warriors
  • . . . to name a few obvious problems.

Furthermore, I’ve even seen Trump’s lack of pro-life consistency firsthand.

I attended one of his rallies in 2020, which was a decent event. He spoke, however, nary a word about life issues or any of the other Catholic non-negotiables (sodomy, euthanasia, etc.). This was when several traditional Catholics touted the magnificence of his pro-life agenda. If there was any, he sure didn’t showcase it during his visit to Greenville, NC that election year.

Trump – Can’t Knock Out a Political Midget

If you clicked on that last hyperlink, you saw a snippet of Trump’s recent debate performance, where he rambled, repeated himself, and generally failed to annihilate an easy opponent. Of course, regarding his debates, I’ve noticed some overly optimistic expectations (by conservatives) prior to every time he opposes Biden or Harris.

Armchair conservatives continue to anticipate (with high hopes) that Trump will finally demolish them once and for all, ala his crushing victory over Hillary Clinton. This is contrary to a now consistent pattern where he underperforms, falling well short of a knockout win.

Many will still say . . .

Ah ha! Trump will finally mop the floor with this dopey Democrat and forever eliminate any element of their credibility. Then we shall see 90% of the population come to their senses and stop voting for the Left.”

Yet he never seems to ring that definitive debate death knell. That’s because American politics is a show, a bread-and-circus, and it wouldn’t profit its ringmaster, the global-homo machine, to allow a landslide. Such a result would ruin the theatrics you get from a “nail-biter” election. That won’t work because the show must go on, as they say.

Will you continue to watch the stupid show even when it becomes more ridiculous, hysterical, and comical than WWF wrestling?

Recently, the clever political commentator, Donald Jeffries, asked basically the same question regarding Trump. According to Jeffries, there are many intelligent observers who can connect the dots on rigged elections, suspicious assassination attempts, and every other Kabuki political illusion in Fake-a-stan (USA).

However, the same folks cannot (or will not) apply any such suspicion to the legitimacy of the Trump mission. No, indeed, almost to a man, every politically cognizant American insists that Trump be either evil or a saint; no room to question whether the whole thing’s a ploy.

What makes this even more absurd? Take a quick peek at the rubbish people will use to justify their political devotions . . .

The Most Trite Excuses for Voting in an Illegitimate Election

Ah, but if you do not vote for Trump, then the greater of two evils, Caramel Harris, shall win!”

Certainly, by now, we can acknowledge the elections are phony and reflect only the will of the Deep State. If, however, I am wrong, then we have no cause for concern because a free election will undoubtedly yield a Donald Trump landslide (honest polling seems to predict this). Then we will reap all the benefits therein, and everything will return to the glorious conditions of the 1980s (or at least prior to 2008).

. . . except, no matter what, he ONLY GETS FOUR YEARS.

So, even in the rosiest scenario, radically far-fetched as it may be, the Trump Train will only travel a short route, before its retirement voyage to the vehicle graveyard. Donald Trump has no successor.

This includes J.D. Vance, any of his sons, or even that man he once called “MLK on Steroids.” The latter, gubernatorial candidate, Mark Robinson, allegedly known as “Nude Africa” may have been as much of a pervert as MLK. Don’t count on him to assume the role of MAGA engineer in the next election cycle.

Either way you slice it, Trump’s empire will soon remind us of that humbling Ash Wednesday Blessing: Remember that you are dust, and to dust you shall return

Little else will be left of it.

Nature always abhors a vacuum, especially when we consider governmental upheavals. Moreover, we cannot expect to reverse the now centuries-long progressive revolution by employing cheap political solutions, like conservatism. This approach does not account for the full scope of the problem.

Try as you might, there is no way to win a spiritual war against the Modernist Revolution with natural or political measures. Above Meme: stolen adopted from Barnhardtmemes.com.

The Holy Catholic Church: The Divine Brilliance of Apostolic Succession

Behold the Catholic Church. The Barque of Peter, captained by the Roman Pontiff, may seem like a cramped and impossibly small dinghy, but that has more to do with how few will board it. If more souls would choose the Traditional Catholic religion over the wide path to Hell, then Her cabin space would graciously expand to accommodate all of them. There is just as much room aboard the Barque as there was bread when Jesus fed the multitude.

Thankfully, we have plenty of reason for hope, no matter these bleak circumstances. That is, if we are patient, do penances, and await the Grand Re-Opening of the Catholic Church, following these many years of extended darkness.

The Holy Catholic Church, distinct from the hostile Collegial Antichurch, offers the best solution to the political vacuum problem: apostolic succession. Holy Mother Church, with Jesus Christ’s headship, has held an earthly succession procedure since the beginning, to include a singular figure (the pope) at its helm.

Apostolic succession refers to how the Church has passed along the fullness of Jesus’ holy orders to every generation since the New Testament. Bishops can ordain new bishops and priests by the mere laying of hands and prayers, and also carry the responsibility of appointing or electing a supreme churchman, the pope. Through all of this, the Holy Spirit guides the Church, ensuring it withstands every attack from the Gates of Hell.

More to the point, these are not supposed to be clerical bureaucrats occupying an office seat, or some elected board position. They have a mandate from Jesus (hence, Holy Orders) to teach, govern, and sanctify. Many men have fulfilled this role marvelously, something we will see again some day.

Pope St. Linus → The First Successor Pontiff

Earlier this week, we celebrated the Feast of Pope St. Linus, who was the first to succeed St. Peter (making him the second pope). For all those doubting Protestants, even St. Jerome, the greater scriptural translator, considers St. Linus to be the second pontiff, following Peter. Furthermore, it was this holy pope who instituted many of today’s Church disciplines and set a magnificent example with innumerable good works.

  • Raising the dead
  • Casting out demons
  • Requiring women to wear veils at church
  • Wrote the noteworthy, albeit non-canonical, Acts of St. Peter
    • . . . explaining the demise of the odious Simon Malgus
  • Received the palm of martyrdom after consecrating over a dozen bishops
  • After that, someone else assumed the papacy and ALSO received martyrdom, along with his successor, his successor, his successor, and all the others for about 300 years.

Pope St. Linus was one among many pontiffs to boast an extensive list of ecclesial accomplishments, wonderfully fruitful for many Christians for centuries. All of this substantiates how the Catholic Church has prosperously continued itself far better than any decadent government or private enterprise. Even when run afoul by treacherous clergy, the Church still keeps a faint candle lit as we approach the final days.

No Guaranteed Succession System for Secular Institutions

Now, contrast all of this with secular governments, which never enjoy permanent protection from heaven, and are instead forced to depend on the faulty judgments of men. They’re often ineffective, brutish, corrupt, but also never last long (Deo gratias!).

This is most true of Jorge Bergoglio’s synodal church, an institution devoted to collegiality, and Vatican II, hellbent on demolishing singular authority; a complete destruction of the holy papacy. The Freemasonic/Progressive Revolution, represents the most tragic repression of any monarchy, casting the once glorious Catholic Church into eclipsed obscurity (for a time).

Despite their attempts, this crisis is a temporary setback for Catholics, and won’t last much longer, though. God will not be mocked, nor will He permit His Church to fall. Therefore, we will witness the end of the miserable Antichurch (via a tremendous chastisement), and the resurgence of the authentic Catholic Church, currently imprisoned, and pontiff-less.

History demonstrates this, time and time again: the Catholic Church is the only institution that survives everything, irrespective of the best sabotage efforts of the most wicked prelates. Secular societies, businesses, and other organizations cannot claim anything close.

Pagan Leaders: Ephemeral Results; Limited Legacies

Pagan rulers always experience a short shelf life, even among their “greatest.”

  • Alexander ruled the world; died in his early-30s.
  • Julius Caesar’s triumph withstood only five years after Crossing the Rubicon.
  • Augustus Caesar did much better than his uncle, but his successors set the Roman Empire on decline almost immediately with Tiberius.
  • The declining Roman emperors, prior to Constantine, got whacked repeatedly by the Praetorian Guard.
  • Even the rotten Muslims sustained a schism over leadership (see: Shias & Sunnis) not long into their miserable existence. NOTE: I’ll do a future article on why God has kept the Muslims around for so long.

Secular/Pagan mediocrity is not just an “ancient” problem, either. Yves Dupont, author of the book, Catholic Prophecy (1970), expressed similar sentiments regarding the decadence of the 20th century’s prevailing worldviews.

“Communism is not “here to stay,” and Democracy is going through its last senile stage. Both the West and the East are diseased, adhering obstinately to their respective follies, or seeking co-existence between their two dying systems, and unable to see that something else is coming.”

That something else is the Triumph of Jesus and Mary. Will you choose then to align with the “Enlightenment” hubris of the West, the brutal communism of the East, or the true source of human flourishing, the Traditional Catholic religion?

Conclusion – Choose Saints over Politicians

The ones on the right do not sufficiently align themselves with the holy figures on the other side.

It always boils down to two choices: man’s way versus God’s way. The former manifests itself in excessive confidence in politicians and ruler-experts, whereas the latter offers man his only opportunity for peace of mind, social prosperity, and holiness.

With that in mind, I should mention how much I enjoy these Latin prose from scripture: Nolite confidere in principibus.

Put not your trust in princes!

Even the Latin pronunciation of “principibus” fascinates me. Ask yourself, dear reader, have you, anytime lately, found yourself granting too much credence to those dreadful prin-chippy-boos? If so, then I suggest you stop and try this alternative.

Put your faith in Jesus Christ and seek the powerful intercession of some of His most beloved friends . . .

  1. Pray the Rosary (preferably all 15 decades, but at least the Sorrowful Mysteries) during this month commemorating Our Lady of Sorrows
  2. Include St. Joseph in your prayers, recalling his bravery during the Flight to Egypt and willingness to bear contempt from the world, including barbaric secular rulers, like Herod.
  3. Devote yourself to St. Michael the Archangel, whose Feast we celebrate September 29th, by saying his prayer at least every morning. He’ll protect you against the wickedness and snares of the devil far better than any lousy, inept, crooked, or malicious principibu.

For me, I guess, the question is whether a Trump win would make any difference. Would he be able to accomplish much of anything in four years without God’s blessing? And I’m not sure he would have that. His allowing (some say inciting) the changes to the Republican platform regarding the issues of abortion, contraception and IVF, and the pandering to the alphabet perversion gang, etc., spell a death knell to whatever was left of morality in the political realm. We Catholics will have far less chance to make an impact in the pro-life arena, as our fight will be a non-event to the politicians. So the strategy to get elected has become this: that Democrats kill all the babies; Republicans kill not so many, so we’re the good guys. Unless Trump and the Party backtrack that position, we must ask ourselves this: Is America worth saving anymore? And will God really hold back His wrath another four years? We may be out of time.
