Are You “Controlled” or “Out of Control” Opposition?

For such false apostles are deceitful workmen, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no wonder: for Satan himself transformeth himself into an angel of light.

2 Corinthians 11: 13-14

Ask yourself, dear reader, this pivotal question: Are you truly ungovernable or do you conform to one of the many ridiculous “camps” throughout contemporary society?

The term “ungovernable” has gained popularity throughout the meme-o-sphere, including among counter-revolutionary Catholics. It’s the willingness to contradict both the globo-homo-Deep-State along with the evil Anti-Catholic Antichurch, led by Antipope Jorge Bergoglio. Of course, it’s one thing to adhere to such sentiment passively, whereas carrying through with it is a different story.

I suspect all of us can be ungovernable, provided we avoid the seductive mind-control traps and ideological stupidity (secular and religious alike). To achieve this, and gain genuine independence from tyranny, one must emancipate from the following political, ideological, and ecclesial snares.

Below are the usual controlled culprits, all inimical to authentic Catholicism. I place them in three categories: 1) Lazy Semi-Traditionalism, 2) Useless Political Ideologies, and 3) Purely Controlled Zombies.

Lazy Semi-Traditional Alternatives to Authentic Catholicism

OneLutherPeterFive

I consider the folks who participate in this website to be the greatest champions of impotent and sometimes even disingenuous traditionalism for several reasons. Where do I begin?

OnePeterFive recently posted a crummy article, by a Novus Ordo priest, explaining how Vatican 2 is a foregone conclusion, warning Catholics to beware the many supposed dangers of traditionalism. I can handle a “diversity of opinions” but there they permit an opponent of Abp. Lefebvre and traditionalism (while insisting we accept the Novus Ordo) prime real-estate on their publication. Why let someone call tradition dangerous?

According to the author, traditionalism, in a nutshell, presents a slippery slope to “sedevacantism.” We must eschew it, altogether. Otherwise, we’re all (including Abp. Lefebvre and Fr. Hesse, apparently) “sedevacantists” of the 1958 variety, and disobedient to the visible Church.

The priest who wrote it, Fr. Michael Brownson, has no identifiable information other than “diocesan priest in the United States.” I can find nothing else on him anywhere online (including ministerial assignments), leaving me to wonder why OnePeterFive offered him space on their platform.

That would be bad enough for an ordinary mainstream Catholic page, but this instead comes from a (decently) organized and purportedly pro-trad group.

What else?

OnePeterFive impresses its higher-IQ Catholic audience by dazzling them with Latin phraseology, abstruse historical minutiae, and the wonders of the TLM, without ever tackling the tangible problems facing Catholics. What do we need more in 2025: another essay on the Latin Mass or some hard-talk and reinforcement on how to deal with the Antichurch fags?

Because of these omissions, a squishy track record of semi-traditionalism, and several other problems, I’m forced to dismiss them as “controlled opposition.” Nobody willfully puts together such a mediocre, non-combative, and unhelpful operation under the banner of Catholic tradition. Either they’re the embodiment of pusillanimity and mindless subterfuge, or our enemies on the other side control them somehow.

  • Note: You probably already know the founder of OnePeterFive abandoned the Catholic religion to chase UFOs instead. By their fruits . . .

Mainstream SSPX

The SSPX, although quite dedicated to offering the sacraments, really are docile, tired, and non-belligerent at this point in the game. You cannot expect them to voice an opinion or sound the alarm on anything relevant (save for Vatican II, once in a while).

None of us can call ourselves real traditionalists and offer obedience to Rome’s unabashed and aggressive modernism (including its antipapacy). I have no qualms with attending their liturgies (it’s often the best any of us can do), but don’t anticipate any specific Antichurch opposition, per SSPX policy.

SSPX Resistancers

This would be one of the better groups (as they lack the “zombie obedience” of the regular SSPX) if not for their oblivious position on the Bergoglian Antipapacy.

We find a good example of this shortcoming from the otherwise admirable Bishop Richard Williamson, who still conflates 1958 Sedevacantism and 2022 Sedevacantism as virtually the same view. He, Fr. David Hewko, the Catholic Trumpet, and others make many fine contributions, but utterly fail to comprehend the Bergoglio Antipapacy, where it originated, and its ongoing ramifications.

I cannot fathom, as Bishop Williamson has, arriving at the conclusion that Pope Benedict’s resignation was invalid, yet Jorge Bergoglio somehow became the pope in 2013, anyway. He even admits there was no valid conclave following the resignation. Many of these men, I believe, continue to labor under that woefully mis-applied Universal Peaceful Acceptance Theory. Pray that they see themselves away from it.

1958-Style Sedevacantists

As I explain in my Vatican 2 evisceration, the 1958 Sedevacantists possess a mastery of partial truths, but spiral into little better than papal-document legalism.

Every know-it-all fringe group in Church history has a penchant for torturing some set of documents; 1958 Sedevacantists have cornered the market as it pertains to papal writings. The Calvinists turn Holy Scripture into legal code, the Eastern Orthodox do the same with Church Councils, and the 1958 Sedevacantists do so with encyclicals, exhortations, letters, and the like.

Ah! I don’t believe you. You just lack the intellect and effort necessary to study the TRUE Catholic religion!! Your theology is terrible! Bahh!!!

It’s easy to see this, too. Just glance at any article, written by a 1958 Sede, and you’ll inevitably find some “Ah ha! Look what this pope infallibly declared!” somewhere in the text. They can’t write anything without a papal reference because they, ironically, are in fact papal literalists.

I could devote more specific examples demonstrating this, but I may save it for a full-length article. In the meantime, I invite readers to consider something. Which of the saints have ever encouraged Catholics to spend forever “studying the documents” as a reliable way to master the science of the saints and get to heaven? Yet, isn’t this what you hear from the lawyer types (including non-sedes as well) as the sole means for understanding the Church crisis?

You’ve gotta study the Church documents, people.

Surely, you’ve heard that message somewhere . . .

However, it isn’t how the Catholic religion has been transmitted across the ages. It’s also never been the case that lay people should pretend to be their own theologian (like many of the 1958 Sedes insist all the time). Lay theologians are nothing more than a Vatican II invention.

Moreover, the 1958 Sedes lack any awareness of the various degrees of suspicion of heresy (light, strong, and grave; explained here). Instead, as soon as they detect the faintest hint of error, however light or ephemeral, they pronounce its speaker immediately outside the Church. Were they more familiar with subtleties, they would not argue so forcefully (unlike the more measured Abp. Lefebvre, Fr. Malachi Martin, and Fr. Hesse) that ALL post-V2 popes were heretical.

Miscellaneous, Bizarre Catholic Groups

Then, there is an array of desperate factions you might find among semi-traditional Catholics: Sede-Privationists, Bishop-Schneider-Tells-Me-What-To-Think-ists, Thuccites, Klingons, Unite the Clones, etc.

I find it self-explanatory why no intelligent Catholic should devote even the sparsest attention to these nonsense groups, movements, or mentalities. Skip the fringe stuff, don’t give them money or watch their podcasts, and return to reading the wisdom of the saints.

Should any devout traditionalist align themselves with any of these camps? Are there viable alternatives?

Do yourself a favor, for the time being, and become a non-aligned Traditional Catholic. We’ll meet again for a much sturdier unity, either on earth or in heaven, pending Our Lady’s Triumph.

Ignore all those who would desire to “unite their clowns” for personal profit and vanity.

Useless & Counterproductive Political Camps

Conservatism

I’ve been tough on these folks lately because they continue to exhibit incredible

short-sightedness, and submit to the leadership of crypto-leftists (or, if you prefer, “neocons”). While I won’t rehash every point of criticism against them, I’ll remind the reader of their trademark gullibility.

Yes, many ordinary conservatives, if you can believe it, have already fallen for the contrived Mark Zuckerberg conversion (enabled by the suspicious and unreliable Joe Rogan). Since he’s grown his hair curly, looks more like a loveable dude-bro, and mumbles a few complaints against Biden, several conservatives think he’s on their side now.

I suppose they might ask Mark whether he’ll reinstate ANY of their fallen brethren who were removed from Facebook summarily during the fake pandemic. The crickets will commence with a deafening chirp while all await.

Libertarianism

Of all the “political” camps, I’m most sympathetic to this one since they’re correct on about 80 to 90% of topics.

However, they suffer from a massive blind spot as it pertains to Freemasonry, Jewish Kabbalism, and other secret-society elements. They make “the state” the scapegoat for all misery and turmoil, failing to see how much it has worsened in just the past few centuries. Perhaps they are far less controlled than the others (depending on the sub-group of libertarians), but that’s faint praise by comparison.

Moreover, I’ve noticed a tendency for the Catholics in this camp to exhibit “libertarian Catholicism” rather than “Catholic libertarianism.” Yes, I contend that how you order the two will reflect your priorities.

Last, and definitely least, I intended to make a section on “leftism” or “liberalism” before realizing that nobody (in their right mind) would ever mistake them for productive. Therefore, it makes little sense to wax on about them being counterproductive. I believe this illustration below will summarize everything you should know about the political left (and most of the political right as well, I’m afraid).

So, instead of wasting time attempting to find the “main baddie,” tumbling into ever deeper rabbit holes, just assure yourself that all the folks in power are sex perverts and satanists. You do not have friends or allies anywhere in the political structures. They’re all best of pals, but not with you.

Purely Controlled Zombies → The Orgasmists

Next, I assume most of my readers would not succumb to any of the following (like leftism). However, just in case, here’s a reminder of the worst zombie “lifestyles” you should never approach for any reason. I could list perhaps a dozen, but shall limit it to one broad, catch-all category: the Orgasmists.

Orgasmists (LGBTQ+!?!*&Animals+Vampires)

There is no such thing as “homosexuality” or any of the other perverse practices. All of it would be much better understood as elicit methods for orgasm inducement; nothing more.

One of their concepts I find most perplexing is the term “bisexual.” What in blazes does this signify? Does it make the adherent only a part-time sodomite? Do they moonlight as perverts but then behave better during the day? Have they had their sodomy bisected somehow?

What a bunch of rubbish!

Nevertheless, the most obnoxious of the perverts might be those intrepid ladies known as strong, independent lesbians. They’ve been on quite the tear as of late. Of course, any observer of the California fires has noticed that these powerful dykes don’t cut the mustard (or any fires). In the old days we referred to these women as “affirmative action hires,” whereas the new verbiage prefers the term “DEI hires.”

While the wording may change, reality remains the same.

In the old days, Smokey the Bear told us that only you could prevent forest fires. Now, the poor denizens of California should realize they cannot prevent eternal hellfire unless they repent of their sodomy and illusions.

This is just as true for the mega-extolled super lesbians as it is the limp-wristed male sodomites. So, ladies, whatever you do, don’t let your frustration with wimpy modern men drive you into the cult of lesbianism. By now, there can be no denying the ineptitude and perversity of the Orgasmists, most especially those ridiculous lesbians.

If you still doubt what I say, then feel free to visit “URL” for more secular resources and solutions to your problems. There, you can learn all the ways to save yourself from the California fires or any other societal dumpster conflagrations (and urban hellholes) created and maintained by these perverted clowns. You have nothing to lose!

On second thought, let’s come to our senses, avoid every one of these pitfalls, and try something different . . .

Your Goal: Be Out-of-Control Opposition!

Not only should you be “ungovernable,” but endeavor to become “out-of-control opposition.”

How might we make ourselves beyond the control of our oppressors and thought controllers (who call themselves “thought leaders”), yet still obedient to God?

  • Pray the Rosary (15 decades every day)
  • Seek the protection of every spiritual weapon possible. This includes wearing Our Lady’s Brown Scapular, the Miraculous Medal, renewing the Epiphany Blessing every year, hanging a Purple Scapular in your home, and so forth.
  • On a material/temporal level, yes, strive to “prep” as much as you can. However, you must prep from a position of love, not paranoia.
  • Relax and smoke a cigar once in a while to unwind. Then you can liberate yourself from the near-endless, anti-tobacco rhetoric entrenched in foolish modern society.
  • Adore God in the Blessed Sacrament as often as possible.

Brilliant and totally on the money IMO! Non-aligned Traditionalist ought to be a contradiction in terms, but sadly is not owing to the glaring void where an orthodox Pope should be. I converted to the NO Conciliar Church in 1999 at super-conservative Oxford Oratory. Having discovered tradition in 2017 I now most frequently attend ICKSP which is a mere 40 miles away, but several times a year attend the nearest SSPX chapel 80 miles away where I have good friends. December last I was conditionally baptised and confirmed by bishop Paul Morgan SSPX-R. I’m praying for many fruits for myself and others from intimate acquaintance with the various flavours and degrees of antichurch resistance and have opinions about which will weather the coming turning of the screw well, or at all.

Yes, I reverted in 2017, and (by the grace of God) didn’t stick around with the Novus Ordo absurdity for very long. All it takes is a modest amount of research to see there are glaring problems with anything “mainstream.” Then, I would say it requires greater prayer (and frustration, perhaps) to claw your way through the mess of the traditionalist landscape. In light of that, I would be patient with folks around us, but also hold the clerics and powerful “public trads” accountable for their garbage.

Thanks for your good comments, Mark.
