Consecrate Russia to Stupid Conservatism?

Consecrate to Mary or Conservatives?

“Oh, dear, it’s so nice to see Russia become ostensibly conservative as Western Civilization injects itself with 666 ml of Satan.”
-Random Conservative American in 2024

If this pseudo consolation has crossed your mind lately, then you may be far too easily impressed by the puny morsels of dubious conservatism found within Errant Russia.

Our Lady did not come to request that Russia be converted to conservatism. She, the Queen of Heaven and Earth, asked that the pope consecrate Russia to Her Immaculate Heart.

These are two very different aims.

  1. Conservatism – Sometimes spelled “conservativism,” yet neither word has a concise or agreed-upon definition. It vaguely involves “conserving” the status quo, or perhaps returning to more prosperous, semi-traditional times.
  2. Mary’s Immaculate Heart – God’s greatest creation, in perfect conformity with Jesus’ Sacred Heart, and the only solution to mankind’s self-inflicted miseries.

Why Consecrate Russia to Mary’s Immaculate Heart?

To address this question, we must first review what an Immaculate Heart is, why God created Our Lady with this glorious disposition, and how Russia has eschewed this beautiful dogma.

Our Lady’s Immaculate Heart is the “core” of her Immaculate Conception. Notice how the English “core” seems close to the Latin word cor, meaning heart (or corazon in Spanish). Ultimately, a consecration to Her Immaculate Heart involves an earnest love, appreciation, and devotion to Mary’s Immaculate Conception, something sorely lacking nowadays. However, that doesn’t tell us what such a conception is, or why it’s important.

One cannot comprehend it without first knowing and accepting the Doctrine of Original Sin.

The Doctrine of Original Sin, which Russian Orthodox Christians reject, tells us that Adam and Eve’s first offense left a permanent stain on man’s nature, exiling him from paradise. Without Jesus’ redemptive sacrifice at Calvary, this “stain of original sin” could never be removed. Of course, in order for God the Son, AKA Jesus, to assume incarnate form (and offer His atoning sacrifice), he had to assume our flesh, somehow free from original sin.

Bear in mind that Our Lord prefers to do things with us rather than to us; evident by the way He performed most of His Gospel miracles. Not surprisingly, this extends into His ways of fixing our fallen nature. Jesus took on our form (without original sin) and sacrificed His share of our humanity to do justice for our sins.

How did He take on our form without infecting His divine essence with that toxic stain?

God willed that He would assume our form, miraculously born of a most pure virgin; as spoken by the prophets, hypostatically conjoining man’s flesh with His Divinity. All of this can only happen with a perfect creation, Mary, who was as pristine as Adam and Eve prior to their fall. The perfect conception of Mary was the only method, per God’s providence, for Jesus to enter the world and fix the curse of original sin.

No Immaculate Conception (i.e., no Most Pure Virgin) → No God entering the world as Man → No Redemptive Sacrifice → No Salvation for Man

Who’s fault is it that it had to be this way? It is ours because our ancestors broke God’s simple commandment not to eat forbidden fruit.

Russians, who are today’s primary adherents to “Orthodox Christianity,” either do not get ANY OF THIS, or reject it out of malice. Therefore, to correct an ever worsening problem, the Blessed Virgin sent the world apparitional messages requesting a resolution to Russia’s errors, including a reversal of its stubborn doctrinal rejections. Unless this occurs, no amount of social improvements (conservative or otherwise) will abate the global chaos Mary warned us would happen.

It’s the consecration of Russia to Mary’s Immaculate Heart . . . or BUST!

By the way, if you would like further explanation of the problems with Russia and/or the Eastern Orthodox churches, please read the following posts:

With all this in mind, let’s return to that ineffective ideology: conservatism.

Conservatism =  A Vapid, Ill-Defined Concept

What is conservatism anyway?

If you haven’t already, I encourage the reader to visit Catholic Esquire’s helpful article on distinguishing conservatism from the more coherent traditionalism. The latter is what we Catholics should espouse, and for various good reasons. I’ll offer one small addendum to Catholic Esquire’s contribution on the topic.

Conservatives know neither what to conserve nor how to conserve anything.

Shall we conserve the current state of affairs, contemptible as they are? How about a return to the 1950s, as many conservatives commemorate fondly? What about the 13th century or would you prefer something more recent, like the American Revolution? Maybe it would be better to return to the Land of Egypt or the Garden of Eden (too bad, we got evicted).

Is this beginning to resemble an infinite regress? Yes, and it’s because conservatism is a lackluster concept, akin to trying to nail social/political pudding to the wall. In traditional Catholicism, to the contrary, we possess a more precise and efficacious foundation (apostolic teaching, elaborated by the popes, church doctors, and saints throughout the ages).

Conservatives lack a clear starting point or frame of reference, even though some of them possess a vague commitment to “the scriptures” or a “supreme being.” Let us not forget that many modern conservatives are functionally deistic, so as to say, they believe God “set things in motion,” and then left everything to man’s pseudo-providence. If this sounds familiar, such a belief system conforms to gnosticism, the aspirations of the builders of the Tower of Babel, and numerous other man-centric “philosophies.”

The only thing worse than clinging to conservatism would be to insist on always being a political centrist, whilst the Overton Window or political continuum shifts all over the place. Let me know in the comment section if you’d like a separate article on all that “moderate” nonsense.

Conservatism – By Its Fruits You’ll Know It

Conservative-Playbook

How do we know modern conservatism is an abject disaster; worse than useless?

As usual, examine the fruits, and you’ll discover the answer. There’s no avoiding how the fruits of conservatism, say from the 1990s to today, have become nothing better than rancid GMO products. Conservative politicians (and many of their supporters) sway with the prevailing winds on everything, including the Gay Slime Month festivities heading our way next week.

Nowadays, some of its adherents have no problem spreading a plethora of scams and cottage industries that take advantage of the fears and outrage of other conservatives. We don’t call some of their media “conservative outrage porn” for nothing.

It also tends to emphasize secular and superficial matters beyond the eternal truths found in Holy Scripture. Rather than genuine religion, make way for the vacuous Prosperity Gospel. Instead of timeless truths, prepare for platitudes that never solve or improve anything. Many conservatives also have not the slightest problem with Freemasonry and/or Zionism, abundantly demonstrating their inability to grasp the worst problems of our times.

Even Archbishop Vigano and Bergoglio know “conservatism” is a cheap ploy.

This sounds fantastic . . . except in real life, conservatives renege on these principles all the time. Leaving aside Ron Paul and two or three others (who are more libertarian than anything), has there been an authentic push for “limited government” since the 1980s? Also, it’s hard to take conservatives seriously, regarding traditional families, since they insist on using contraception and allowing their daughters to go to communist colleges to become “strong, independent lesbians.”

Russia is Conservative? Who Cares?

What does conservatism have to do with Russia?

It becomes a necessary discussion because many well-meaning Catholics, even traditionalists, cannot distinguish between Russia’s conversion to Catholicism and the world converting into Russia. While that might sound bizarre, this confusion stems from mistakenly applauding Russia’s newfound conservatism. Many wrongfully believe that it would be okay for the world to follow Russia since they’ve become less cruel and semi-traditional in recent years. This is a ruse.

Conservative or not, Russia cannot lead the world, or be the St. Paul of our times (like Fr. Gruner has mentioned) unless it converts to Catholicism FIRST. The conversion must precede any potential of them leading the world back into civilized harmony. Alas, this is impossible because Russia, and its “conservative Orthodoxy,” founded in the Russian Orthodox Church, continues to reject several important dogmas, as I’ve mentioned.

It is impossible for Russia to accomplish anything genuine until it accepts the Dogma of Original Sin, the Dogma of the Immaculate Conception, and rectifies several other heresies. Conservatism on its own won’t overcome those grave errors, no matter how many new families develop and flourish within that country.

Conclusion – Pray for Russia’s Consecration to Mary’s Immaculate Heart (not just Conservatism)

Conservatism is much like that Bon Jovi song: “whoa, we’re halfway there . . . livin’ on a prayer.” I believe we can surpass the stifling limitations of this ideology, and arrive closer to God (not just halfway) if we employ the full strength of Catholic tradition; every last element of it.

Later, I will write an article on how conservatism correlates with what I consider “Judeo-Protestant Values.” Notice how that doesn’t involve the word “Catholic.” That’s because conservatism, Talmudic Jew-ism, and Protestantism are inevitably anti-Catholic, and have spawned limitless contradictions to Our Lord’s Holy Gospel. Remember that it’s the Protestants who bring us ridiculous theologies, like “Prosperity Gospel,” and the Jews who torment the world with usury, debauchery, and injustice.

For now, continue to strive for holiness, pray for a new pope, Russia’s consecration to Mary, and an end to worldwide turbulence. We can pray 15 decades of Our Lady’s Rosary daily, as Fr. Dave Nix recommends, and unlock the virtue needed to abandon hard-heartedness, excessive anger, and forgive others easier.

Finally, always remain close to your guardian angel. It’s easy to obsess over the preternatural influences, which underpin the rich and powerful of this world. However, if Hell’s fallen angels can make powerful pacts with the wicked, how much more can our guardian angels, who behold the Face of God, strengthen men of goodwill? I’m utmost certain that devotion to those angels, who love us immensely, can achieve far greater feats than those rotten demons who broker temporal power in exchange for one’s soul.

God bless and Ave Maria!

True. The promised Conversion of Russia is neither a conversion to liberal democracy, nor a conversion to ‘peace’, nor a conversion to Eastern Orthodoxy, nor a conversion to conservatism but a conversion to Catholicism and monarchism.
