I’ll make this public service announcement short and simple, addressing the following question: Should lay Catholics attend SSPX Masses in the future now that the Society has received excommunication, including all complicit lay people?
The Answer: Yes, but ONLY if you cannot find better alternatives (an SSPX Resistance Mass) anywhere near you. That would be much better because the “Resistance” priests (who are no longer tied to the official SSPX) oppose Vatican II in much clearer terms (minus a few imperfections).
We should never capitulate to that phony and evil council in any shape or form, least of all by listening to its leadership, particularly Antipope Robert Prevost, Oily Father of the Synodal Anti-Church.

If the choice is between attending the SSPX versus the St. Peter Hyper-Obedience Fraternity (FSSP) or worse yet, a Novus Ordo Mass, then attending the SSPX is the obvious solution.
That being said, I would offer them a much more ringing endorsement if their bishops and priests could muster together a stronger stand against the evil Synodal Church. They have unfortunately placed themselves in a precarious position given these contradictory views: 1) They believe Robert Prevost occupies the papacy and the Synodal Church is valid, but also 2) They can disobey the express wishes of said “pontiff.”
Without covering every theological detail, this is simply NOT how Catholicism works
I suppose the Society’s leadership has surmised that its state of emergency stems from the fact that Robert Prevost is the pope, but he’s evil, and therefore they must consecrate their own bishops regardless of direct orders to the contrary. I’m glad I don’t have to pretend someone is the pope and the office of the papacy has become somehow malevolent. Members of the SSPX must struggle with this dilemma quite arduously, and I pity their cognitive dissonance.
Irrespective of the Society’s intellectual schizophrenia, however, we lay faithful can apply reason and logic to this quandary. All we must do is realize that Robert Francis Prevost, along with every other cleric who opposes the Catholic religion, can be neither a true son of Holy Mother Church nor one of Her clerics, let alone the pope. Therefore, these jolly fellows CANNOT excommunicate anyone.
You, my dear reader, provided you are Catholic, outrank both Robert Prevost and Tucho Fernandez by virtue of believing and adhering to the religion. They possess no dominion over you, or the SSPX for that matter. You and I may ignore them and decide where to attend Mass or confess our sins through a calculus that withdraws all consideration of the barking and slobbering from the Oily Father and his Tucho.

So, yes, in conclusion, you can attend SSPX Masses because they still (vaguely) oppose Vatican II and (sort of) oppose the Synodal Antichurch. I would, however, hold my nose if the preaching gets squishy, and stay away if you know an SSPX parish utilizes a former Novus Ordo priest who has not received conditional re-ordination. They may lack valid orders (long story).
Either way, remember to pray the Rosary every day (all 15 decades), begging God to grant His Church an authentic pope, who will consecrate Russia to Our Lady’s Immaculate Heart. Once this finally happens, it will be the end of the rotten Synodal Anti-Church, and we won’t have to ruminate over any of this chaos ever again. Finally, pray your Rosary as well for the new SSPX bishops.
